Lab D was the most stressful lab that I have had so far. I was so stressed because I was unfamiliar with DDR and I has never played the game before I was assigned to teach. Even though I was able to practice at home I was still a but uneasy. I think my lesson went well and I was able to keep a nice flow with no major problems. My lesson plan came out good. At first I was unsure of how to come up with tasks and how I would really teach DDR, but I figured out that the best way is really just to have students play and give them feedback. I thought the lesson kept everyone fairly active but by watching the video and by looking at my time coding form, I wish that there was less management as far as operating the game and changing songs. I don't know how much I could have done to get the songs to play faster or keep the students more active but I think they needed rest in between songs so it woked out well. I felt really comfortable as far as hitting everything on the C-9 form. I only missed one thing and all the points are really starting to come naturally. Overall I am glad that I had to teach something that I wasn't comfortable with and I think it made me more confident as a teacher. This was a good experience and now that I know that I can learn something completely new to me and create a good lesson, I know I could learn other new tasks and teach my students.
